Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. We provide a range of services to make your special day unique - our Registrar will be delighted to assist you and offer advice on arranging your ceremony.

Arranging the Date and Time

Where possible, you should try to make early arrangements for the date and time of your marriage. To check availability, please contact the Registrar.

The Wedding Venue

The Robert Burns Suite is a stylish and modern semi-circular shaped room which comfortably accommodates 85 guests. The suite boasts a choice of magnificent decorative Burns-themed banners and floral displays designed specifically for the Burns Monument Centre.

The bride and groom have space to relax before the ceremony in the Jean Armour and Gavin Hamilton Rooms and the Waiting Area has comfortable seated space for 12 guests.

The Ceremony

At the time of your initial appointment, the Registrar will discuss all legal requirements and the format of your ceremony. You are welcome to personalise your marriage ceremony by adding a few words, having a member of your party read a piece of poetry or prose or having music played during the ceremony. You can discuss all these options with the Registrar prior to your wedding day.

Photography

The Burns Monument Centre provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photographs including the paved courtyard, Burns Monument and landscaped gardens as well as the beautiful surroundings of the Kay Park.
