This ceremony is for any married couple who wish to celebrate renewing their marriage vows in a unique and personal ceremony. Many couples choose to do this at a significant wedding anniversary.

Often the Renewal of Vows is associated with a special wedding anniversary, but the ceremony is just as appropriate for couples at any stage in their marriage. Many couples who get married abroad choose to renew their marriage vows in a special event held for family and friends on their return.

The Ceremony

The Renewal of Vows ceremony may contain an acknowledgment of any children of the marriage, readings, re-dedication of rings or the giving of new rings, words from a previous wedding guest (e.g. best man, bridesmaid or bride's father.) The Registrar will be happy to discuss all of these options or any other ideas you may have.

The ceremony has no legal status, and is not legally binding on those who participate.

For further information regarding the venue, please go to the Room Layouts & Facilities section.
